Due to over research and over writing on a complete religion of Islam
( 5: 3 ) such confusion is created. We should avoid raising
controversy in Islam as it will spoil the image of Islam in the West.
Quran was bestowed on the mankind to understand it and follow its
directives in letter and spirit. Those who don't want to follow the
Quran, they should better refrain from doing the so called research
work to deviate the Muslims and create confusion. They may do some
community service for the benefit of mankind. Don't exploit Islam as
it is already too much exploited and deviated so much so that Shirk,
Bidah, Un Islamic culture and practices, various deviations,
falsehood, extremism, suicide bombings and killings, sectariaism,
Maslak and Fiqah differences, religious groupings and parties, Pirs
and Faqirs, Babas, saint grave worship, meetings, lectures,
processions and slogan mongering on Islam instead of practice etc.
have become common.
There are already too many web sites on Islam with too many writers,
Mullahs, Imams, priests, advisors, etc. Let there be peace on the
religious front as in Saudi Arabia and Iran. All Masajids, Madressahs,
religious literature should be nationalised in Pakistan and all
religious parties and Tehriks etc. should be banned as Islam is a
state subject and therefore Islam should not be allowed to be
exploited and fragmented. Thanks.

Dear Syed Sadruddin Hussain
Thank you for your email. I sincerely enjoyed reading your comments. I
have encountered many similar remarks before and I would like to
address this.
Everything that you have stated above is a prime example of a
centuries old avenue of ‘belief’, which we all know as ‘blind faith’.
This is something we constantly see reinforced by Imams in mosques and
madrisas. It is because of this indirect form of oppression or your
ignorance (take your pick) that Islam is constantly undermined. The
truth remains that you have only yourselves to blame for this
unfortunate state of Islam because you choose to believe such
preposterous claims that Prophet Soloman had 700 wives, that Prophet
Mohammad had 15 wives- one of them being a nine year old child – to
name a few, without even making the slightest effort to authenticate
any of these claims. What’s worse is that you further justify these
practices as ‘Islamic’ as anyone with the basic ability to think can
determine that these claims are wrong. I have done anything but
exploit the Quran- kindly refers to all your Ahadiths and Islamic
history which you hold as a pinnacle of Islam, and experience for
yourselves what exploitation really is.
You refer to Saudi Arabia and Iran- and I am surprised at your
inability see the current state of the Muslim ummah in these
countries, where there are severe disparities in the social and
economic classes - not one of these countries can compare to the west,
which by the way, has in fact created a system that is more in tune
with the Quran than any Muslim country.
Your call to ‘refrain from doing research work’ mimic the cries of a
child on the first day of school- like him, you too would prefer to
stay home within the confines of your four walls constructed of
manmade Ahadiths and traditions. Agreeably, your Islam is under
threat, not only by the west- but also by our younger generations who
face this thick black cloud of confusion churned up only by
yourselves. This manmade veil of Islam can only hold its ground for so
long- and asking people to jump aboard and contain this veil is not
the solution- rather we should reconsider the purpose of the veil in
the first place.
Best Regards
Akhtar
